Session 6 - Feb 18, 2018

What a terrible day.  The giants weren’t even willing to talk.  The leader blew her horn and a terrible attack began.  Boulders were  thrown over the wall into the city, as if they just wanted to cause fear and panic more than anything.  The leader didn’t seem to waver the entire time she attacked the south-west gate.  She was peppered with arrows and wounds, burnt by magical fire but this only made her more determined to succeed at her mission.  With a single incredible blow, the gate was forced open and her winter wolves burst through the gate with lightening speed.  The city guards launched a volley of spears but turned and ran away from the wolves.  Having gained access to the city, the Giantess was determined to see this through.
The hero’s of the day, visitors to the city of Bryn Shander, stood toe-to-toe with their foes.  The giant's and the winters wolves towered over them, but they were undeterred.  Concentrating their attacks on the leader brought her down and she fell with a terrible death cry.  But the winter wolves unleashed their terrible breath of frost and Magdiana fell and quickly succumbed to her injuries.  Little did they know that the giants that had entered the city from the other gates made for the centre of city and found Sirac, the son of Artus Cimber, who gave himself up to prevent further destruction.  With Sirac in their grasp, the giants left, leaving behind destroyed buildings, many dead and many more injured.

Our heros, Chamele, Skithryx and Ronan look down upon there fallen compatriot as Maggies flying cat emerges from the rubble and leans on the still warm body of Magdiana.
